Single vineyard Pinot Noir from Mount Bera certified organic & biodynamic block in Gumeracha, Adelaide Hills. Farmed by the expert hands of Greg Horner & Alessio Lopardo.
The MV6 Pinot Noir tight bunches come from a steep North-East facing slope which actually see two soil types meet : A limestone on clay on the east & a Schist slate on clay to the west. Which give to the MV6 grapes all their perfumes & complexity.
Naturally hand-picked, the Pinot Noir underwent a 10 days long carbonic maceration before being foot stomped & genteelly punched down once a day for another 10 days before pressing toward the end of primary fermentation.
Elevage in Bourgogne barrique for 9 months on fine lees.
Bottled on site in our Basket Range winery without fining nor filtration.
