History

Originally from France, Jean-Baptiste Courdesses created a winery in Australia in 2019 after accumulating years of experience around the globe working in various fermentations, farming & hospitality fields.

Jean Bouteille Wines is a focus on hand made wines from organically farmed grapes using regenerative practices in both winery & vineyard but also packaging & made naturally to respect the integrity of the handpicked grapes.

Our small scale winery is based in Basket Range, Adelaide Hills. We farm our vineyard according to a strict organic method & purchase fruits from like-minded trusty viticulturist to craft wines only from the highest quality grapes.

Based on intuitive reaction & natural instincts decisions, our wines reflect the landscape & the character of the grape varieties nurtured by a farming respectful of the environment.
